ordering lift monday morning... had some delays...

I am getting a FRANKENLIFT and need to check a couple of things.

If I just get this... am I covered?
Frankenlift II Premium Kit for GAS KJ: $1014.92
Comes with pre-assembled front struts assemblies. Uses OME NS131 Front Struts, OME927 H/D front Springs, Proprietory Poly parts, Strut Top Plates, All hardware needed; Rear OME948 H/D springs, OME132L Rear Long Travel Shocks and pair of rear extended bump stops. Plus, 1 Frankenlift Decal.

Do I need to do clevis still, 2 each side, and rear iso pads? Or is it good like it is and then let it settle and go from there.

I really appreciate all the help!

Congratulations! I would suggest getting two rear isolaters for each side, for a total of three on each side (one factory, two extra). That is the maximum you can use. I have the Frankenlift, I only put one extra rear isolater per side, for a total of two (one factory, one extra).
My front end is still sitting higher than the rear. I plan on adding an extra isolater to each side.
I don't think you need to do a clevis lift right away. Maybe see what kind of lift you get, and go from there.
The bumpstops they send you are good. I plan on using two hockey pucks instead, (I didn't put them in yet :oops:

Trust me, you need them ). The ones that come with the kit are about 1.5 inches. Two hockey pucks are 2 inches. I want that extra protection since I am running a 31.5 inch tire. also, when drilling the holes for the bumpstops, drill nice and slow. Extra lubrication is great too.

Am I missing something? A kit is probably over $1,100 with shipping and you have to ADD stuff to get it to sit level?

i'd only add 1 extra iso to each side in the rear (total 2). that's what i did and after it settled it was perfectly level... that's level not the same as the front nose dive 'rack' it has from the factory. dont do any clevis lift in the front.. atleast till it settles. I use to frankenlift bump stops with 265/75/16's (32in) and do get a little bit of rubbing on the rear fender flairs but not enough to rip them off. the 2 hockey pucks would be your better option probably but i'd rather have the flex :BANANA:

also you wont be able to get your alignment perfect.. but close enough that you'd never know it wasnt perfect.. tire wear and handling wont be affected at all.. just on the spec sheet it'll be a little off. And with the stock A-arms you'll get a 'clunk' when your tire drops in a hole real quick.. it's the a-arm hitting the bump stop on the frankenlift front struts.. to fix that 'clunk' and the alignment jeepinbyal's a-arms are necessary. I ran stock arms for 40000 miles till a ball joint broke then upgraded.. and it is an upgrade for sure. so that's not completely necessary but nice to do if you have the extra cash. if not no big deal.

You can get the isolaters for the rear at the dealership, but they might need to order them for you.
Or you can order them online.

All three sites seem to be exactly the same.
The sites call them "Spring insulator, liberty, upper"
So, two Isolators plus shipping came out to be:

Each one was like 9$ plus shipping. So the total came out to ~30$ for two.
At the dealer I think they are like 15$ each, but you save shipping, in the end I think its the same price. Maybe you can convince the dealer to give it to you for cheaper.

Thats the correct isolater for the top of the rear springs.
I'm not sure about the 05's if they need to relocate the driverside rear brake line. I know 06-07 for sure. I haven't extended mine yet, and
I've been ok, I do plan on it though.

It is not extremely noticeable in the pictures, but I can tell in person, and it annoys me..

This first picture is about two days after the lift with small tires.

The second and third pictures are from the same day with 31's, 40 days after the lift, (not sure how many miles, but probably 2,000)

If you like working on your truck, and need an excuse to, then definitely wait, lol.
I added one from the beginning because I have limited time to work on mine, and I drive it, A LOT, lol.
(I ordered two more to add to mine.)

Also, If anything you need the iso in the beginning while the front end is new, and still tall. Once it starts to sag in the front, I plan on taking the iso's out to level it.. or add clevis spacer to the front to raise it, lol.
