Anybody had a problem with their Nav disc getting warped or unreadable? I had gotten in the habit of leaving my Nav disc in the headunit of my disc changer. That disc gets really hot after being left in there. Now I get a disc error message when trying to use the Nav system. Other web searches have suggested burning a copy of DVD and using copy.
Any other suggestions besides buying new disc?

THe NAV dvd is a dual layer disc so you can't copy it on a regular DVD you need a dual Layer disc. If yours is warped or damaged it may not copy. I have one that is an update I got from ebay I can try to copy it if you still need one..... BTW I let mine in the head unit all the time with no issue so far.

Mine has stayed in since 2006 with no issues.

I tried to copy it, even using a dual layer DVD, but none of my copies ever worked. The original is the only one that has worked for me.
Cheaper to by a Garmin or Tom Tom instead of the newer disc.

That's why DVD driven Nav systems aren't very popular.
