I want to put a third light in the middle of the two big ones. (that didn't sound right)

When I get/find more, I'll post up.

Are those more lights behind your grill or is that just reflection off the camera lense because i have been trying to figure out how to do that and which lights i could do it with.

it's a reflection

would have been cooler if I lied and said it was lights :P

You could do it though! Pop the grill off and take a look, you could easily span it with a piece of aluminum or whatever you have laying around and mount a set of lights

some states do have a limit on how many lights you can have below a certain # of inches or how many lights you can have ON below a certain # of inches but not to let that thwart you if you're set on it ;)

You may run into heat issues with the plastic grill however if you opted for high watt halogens if you were to operate them for extended periods of time in too close of a proximity to the grill, they get quite warm but that's just a design consideration to think about or at least something to be wary of

friend of mine had a nitro with a set of four (over 55w) halogens behind his grill and it warped the grill - not sure how long he had them on though

you'll be fine the heat wont do any thing. Ive though of boltinh them from the top of that palstic support behind the grille the "watumacallit" i think is technical term i could be wrong though. but i doubt it.

considering a nitro, is a liberty with different badges.. hince uses the same plastic, i repeat the prior caution without actually repeating it ;)

he said they wouldn't hurt anything too

i think where he went wrong was
1. lights were almost against the grill and
2. the edges of the grill were covering part of the light

if i recall correctly he was using 4 5" lights , 2 on each side, over and under behind the grill

well if you say it then i wont argue that if never seen it done on a nitro or liberty. but the cars i have sen use small 2" behind he grille insert. and worry more about the engine heating the light rather then the lights heating the grille. anyways i guys you might want to do some homework before going through with it but remember where there's a will there's a way.

And if all else fails use a hammer

or LEDs!!!

;)

2 or 3" probably won't put out enough heat to do anything, or could be mounted to give adequate space, then again, i'm not sure how long he had them going, he does alot of wheeling night runs so it could have been hours, pretty sure his were 5" KC slims

a 4 or 5" led light bar mounted vertically on either side of the grill in the outter most slots would be pretty wicked

but that's $ in a direction I don't want to go right now

Well i am planning on running HID Warn lights on my bumper already have a set on order and two sets of the 520 Piaa ATP on a boiler rack would look real nice. What do yall think? And i agree two vertical LED light bars behind the grill would look wicked coming at you on the trails at night.

Couldn't help but buy them got them for 300 dollars even off of ebay. The only thing wrong with them was the box was opened and they didn't know if anything was missing or scratched so they sold them to me as is. If i could of gotten more like that definitely would have after seeing them in action on my buddies TJ. And i really like the new Piaa with there ATP beam pattern that is what i was going to buy till i found the warns.
