Well my first new sound comes when i turn the wheel i get a really nice click which i can hear and feel through the steering wheel. This problem kind of concerns me because i can only hope it isn't the power steering assembly as i dont have the money to spend. Next is coming from my drivers side rear window it is a nice low groan when being rolled up i am pretty sure it is the regulator going or maybe the motor itself. But either way the click in the steering is my biggest concern. Also i have just rolled 90k and i am getting ready to do my timing belt oil and accesory belt cooling system and flushing the brakes and power steering. So this will just be something else i can add to my list for my 3 day maintenance period that i will be taking.

Try lubing the rubber seal on the window. The verticle one. My has dried out some and talks to me when I roll it up and down. Some WD40 sprayed on a rag, then wiped on the rubber quiets it down.

Thank you people now the next question is does anyone have any idea what my click is when i turn my steering wheel? I can easily feel it and hear it when i turn the steering wheel either way but it does seem to be at the exact some point on each side.

Check the tie-rod ends just inboard of the back of the brake disks. My driver's side one has a torn boot and I've been babying it along with silicone spray till I can change it out.

I would expect a wheel bearing to give vibration (and perhaps noise) while at speed, and either disappear or change dramatically when turning. (Reducing or increasing the load on the wheel).

I had one go on my Duramax that I failed to detect until it was almost ready to come apart. Hard to tell on a big diesel, perhaps hard to tell on a CRD as well.

I would look at the tie rod ends, pitman, etc.

The rear factory original breaks needed replacement on my jeep thousands of miles ago (60k?). I replaced them all at once. The front pads were still good. I kept the fronts and just put them back on this week at 116.5k. The grinding noise is the steel holding onto the pad wearing into the rotor. Replace the pads now while it is still cheap if they need it. :banghead:

No tricks, they are easy to repair if you've done disc breaks before and pretty easy if you have not done disk breaks. Don't be fooled by the outside pad. Look at the inside pad, it will wear faster than the outside pad.

Good luck,
Boilermaker2
