Good stuff! I really like the black flares/lights/grill, looks clean.
The lights on the mirrors are cool too, not too big, but big enough to be noticed. 8)

i saw some intense PIAA motorcycle light that I wanted.
Image
but at $576.00 a pair it was way too much
if i had the money to spend on light i would by a light bar.
then one day walking around walmart looking for well anything, I saw these and for 18 buck and thought why not i could make something nice.

What do yall think of me mounting a set of 7 inch HID Warns on my front bumper. I have come up with an angle bracket that I can make them work or I can wait on my Rock Lizard Front bumper. Need some idea i am also palnning on a Boiler Rack eventually so these will probably go up there with a 4 inch set and another 4 inch set on my bumper.

how long do have to wait for your rock lizard bumper.
it easy to do you just have to decide if you want to drill holes in your stock bumper or leave it clean like new.

I have no idea it was supposed to be finished up in 2 months and shipped my way it has now been 2 and a half. That is the thing my stock bumper is still messed up from where i hit a deer so drilling into it is definitely not a problem for me. Just kinda of worried because of how big they are i mean they are the same size as my stock head lights. All i have to say is i feel sorry for the next person to leave thier high beams on.

the stock plastic is fairly thick, it should hold up as long as ya use adequate backing material like a wide piece of aluminum or something along the lines of a large fender washer

we had a few who mounted small light bars and such and more than one of them had warpage problems where the bar was trying to pull through the fascia

just mind your backing and make sure it has adequate surface to distribute pressure and weight and ya wont have any problems at all

2 things
1. i like your jeep (dont know if it the glare but the middle lights look bigger i like)
2. i bought my HI/LOs at a car show down her tower shops i can find the for put you would have cover shipping so im sure you can find a better deal online and i have come to realize most hids ar the same unless you buy piaa, kc, etc.
mine ar 6000k also known as dimond white(i dont like blue lights.)

P>S looking at your car notice read hooks and skid plate.
you should paint the sliver part of the rims red, and put some red details around the car this i think it shoul look good.

These things look like stadium lights and the output is close to the same. But they are heavy i am just waiting on some aluminium stock to build my mounts. I was thinking instead of just L brackets i was do a triangular set up out of 1-1/4 wide by 1/8 of inch thick aluminium . Remember these lights are 13 lbs total and list for close to 400 so i want them to be as secure as possible. Any better ideas or do ya'll think it should be efficient or over done?

P.S. I need to get these lights out in front of the bumper because the HID pack on the back will not allow them to actually sit on the bumper. Looked at how to mount them today going to be intresting but wiring is basically just plug and play with this kit.

so you might need a bracket with a longer top part( i believe that the technical term) or you could bolt a bar to the brackets allowing you to place them more forward.

i also think your tringle idea would surly make it mor stable but the "L" i use are ment to support lumber the are galvanized steel im the took my wieght on them and my spaner set.

anyone know of different bulbs for the Hella 500s that are more blue?

i will tell you the brand soon i think they are china but it will see have had them for a year work great.
has for the hellas buy some H3 bulbs that are xenon or sylvianna utra sliverstar. the will by a slight color difference you can also convert them to HID which is what im doing.
Or you can try LEDs i havent tried them but i want to.

I would do that, definitely more secure than my method. Especially with that type of hardware.

I would not use those. They would not be bright. but for four bucks, they might be pretty.
