I was driving on a little road trip sunday when a few times my TPM light came on and it sounded a ding. the EVIC also displayed Check TPM system. the light went out after a few miles only to come one like an hour later go out after 10 minutes or less never to be seen since. What could be going on?

I checked the tires they were all ok fully inflated even the spare. I even did some light wheeling in Centralia, PA with out airing down and everything was fine.
