I want to rotate my own tires in an X pattern again here at home with only two jack stands and a 3 ton floor jack.
Suggestions please on the best way you would undertake this tire rotation procedure.

For example, can I just lift from the center of the rear differential case to switch the rear wheels off the ground without damaging anything?
Would I jack and support the sides one at a time by lifting to keep both wheels off the ground simultaneously while I make the swap?
Where on the frame should I place the stands safely?

there's notches in the chassis where the jackstands go, let us know if you don't/can't locate them and we'll either hit ya with a holly branch or show you a picture or the manual ;)

you can either put the rear axle on jackstands and do one wheel in the front at a time, or put the front on jackstands and do one at a time in the rear

a piece of 4x4 gets real helpful depending on how big of a jack you have

let us know if ya need diagrams of jackpoints or anything

Thanks much. I was just wondering if the center of the rear differential can hold the weight of both rear wheels off ground without damage.
Also, if in a space limited situation are there any other areas of the Lib frame that can support the chase safely?

Your suggested way is one good way I will use.

Yes it can in the process of elevating the axle to be put on stands, however it is a slight balancing act and care should be taken not to put the jack cup edge on the flange of a stock differential cover, it's stamped sheet metal and if the cup slips it could deform the flange possibly causing a leak

it's generally accepted to jack when necessary from the front LCA's but that's typically for a quick tire change like you're talking about doing and when your jack may not be high enough to elevate the front chassis with the rear off the ground already

areas of the chassis suitable for a jack or jackstand are reinforced and notched
