If you are completely new to "lifts" or working on suspension components it will take a while.
Definitely before dusk if you start at 8am. We started at 4pm because.. well.. we weren't smart. Working in the dark is not as pleasant as daylight.
If you're suspension savvy it'll be a breeze. (Although my friend {who pretty much did the install} has changed multiple suspensions, mostly on Eclipses and of that sort, we were still trying to "understand" the in-n-outs of the KJ)
I wouldn't count on similar results as Tom when you're doing yours for the first time..
Mine took a while to install. I don't know for sure, but I would say about seven (7) hours. That's for a Frankenlift Premium II & JBA's UCA.
If you're doing it by yourself, subtract the time BSing.
Driverside UCA is a pain, Passenger side, much easier.
Ratchet strap is a great idea for a Frankenlift..
I used
this write up, and it was more than helpful.
Don't get scared, it is
definitely possible to do yourself. When you do a couple more, you will think back and say, "Wow, what was I
so worried about".
Just take your time and pay attention to the little details, most importantly,
HAVE FUN!Good Luck
