Ok. the 4x4 libby vs the 2wd libby. There has to be a few more fire wall plugs on the 4x4 model for running the 4x4 stuff. I want to run a power line from the batt to inside the cab. lets say about around as a pinky finger. Were is the best place to run though a power line this big that will not mess up other electronics with a power line so close to them. hmm or is it just drill the wall, run the line and gasket goop the hole?

There are already two plugged up openings in the firewall. I popped out the plastic part, put the wires through, then stuffed a whole bunch of silicon or clear RTV in the hole with the wires. Still going strong about two years later.
This should help a bit.

What do you need to run large power wires into the cab for?? Not a good idea. Use relays and keep the power on the other side of the firewall!

Just drill a hole where you need it and install a rubber gromment with a little bit of clear silicone. The silicone will keep the gromment from coming out and also protect the metal edges from rusting.

You can buy rubber grommets from nearly any auto parts retailers Or....http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Gasket-3706-Gr ... B000934LBC

That statement is confusing.

I drilled a hole in the blank where the clutch pedal would go through if it were manual. If there is a rubber grommet filling a hole it's best to leave it in place, cut a small X in it and push the wire through.

Not sure why a 2WD or a 4WD would have any more or less holes in the firewall compared to each other. Since you have the Jeep in front of you, you would know better than us. Have a look and if there are none, drill out a hole, put a snap-in plastic grommet in place and seal with silicone after the wire is run.

Probably should be in electrical section.

You can take a hanger and unfold it,bend the tip over, and tape it.
Push this through the firewall plug under the master cylinder(from the inside undeneath above and to the left of the brake pedal).Attach wire, and pull it in.
This should work for one or two wires,my #2awg wires I had to hand drill a hole on top of the rubber grommet to get it through.Top'd it off with some rtv.
