JBAs got the best costumer service and ive never heard any complains. RRO has terrible customer service, from experiences, and ive heard terrible reviews about fitment and quality.

Do a search - several posters have opted for the RRO arms. Certainly one I read of had problems fitting one of them, others apparently not so much, or at least they didn't report having any worse a time than anyone fitting a-arms! I don't recall anyone complaining about the fitment of the JbAs, although whatever you fit - assuming that the specs are on, it seems to be a real pain to fit on one side ( I don't recall which) - lots of extensions and flexi joints is a good idea for the toolbox berfore you start - again, search is your friend here.

As for customer service, everyone who has used JbA seems to be happy with the service they've had, I certainly don't recall anyone reporting problems. As for RRO, some customers seem to have had a very poor service experience, others (Bugnout for example) have had no problems with whatever they've ordered from them, and posters on some other forums have only reported good experiences with them, so it seems to be a case of taking pot luck.

As for the arms themselves, RRO arms are a fair bit cheaper than the JbA arms and so far as I know, none of the posters who've fitted the RROs have reported any problems or failures in use. It would be impossible to say which is "better" without getting a pair of each, submitting them to lab testing (materials used, strength, fitness for purpose, quality of manufacture etc) and testing both on a vehicle - very expensive, and so not really practical.

yea after reading the other link, I'll just stick with whats "known good". I'd rather pay the extra $100 and get a smooth transaction, and guaranteed good a-arms....

thanks everyone.

hey jafstl38, how are the skyjacker rear springs and shox working with the OME front setup? Did you need to level the rear or was it a perfect match? I see you have the ARB bumper and a winch, which is what I have now...

Cheap is expensive but so is irrelevance... I've still gots the original A arms with over 100K miles and some serious off road time. Never saw the need to fix something that ain't broken and stuff.

...just sayin'

They are actually holding up much better than I expected! I've had them over a year and the OME front about 10 months and I love the set up! Im going to be adding a strut plate, 3 clevis rings and rear isolators over the weekend so I hope it says evened out!

I recently had UBJ failure.. most likely from wear, 115,000 miles on them.. and also probably due to the lift that i installed.

I just purchased a set of JBA Upper Control Arms Gen 4.5 and they fit perfectly. Now if i have UBJ failure again, i can just replace the ball joint instead of replacing the OEM Upper control Arm and UBJ that is cast inside of the control arm.

Not to mention that the JBA A-Arms give me a little more room near the strut tower. I am happy with the $400 i spent on them. Wouldn't go go down a different route.

They all wear out sooner or later, even JL's will, of course he will never tell us when he goes and buys brand new stock ones will he?

One of my original ones that I ran for 70,000 lifted miles was installed on a KJ with 40,000 miles and one of his was toast already.

I wonder why people replace their stock radios if the original ones are still working JL??? That would of kept you from working back a few years ago

Hmmm, food for thought. My UCA's are pretty new, the po changed them out right before I bought the vehicle. maybe I'll use those till they wear, then go with JBA arms....

That sounds like a good plan KJ. The JbAs have a good rep, but if the stock arms are fine - stick with them until they need replacing, then do the spend. There's other stuff to spend the money on in the meantime :D

my stock one broke after being lifted for 40k miles.. i'd say if yours are making a bunch of racket or starting to wear out just buy JBA arms. service was AWESOME and the product is just as good.

yeah i just installed my 927s with ns131 struts yesterday, and both the ball joints are gonners. Plus, there is no way on earth that the front end could be aligned properly with the stock uca's. So I'll be ordering a set of JBA arms soon (as in Monday).
