 Post subject: IPOD and loudspeaker

when were fishing, we really want some music playing, no boom box. But i have a ipod and access to a outdoor loudspeaker.

Can you just put a 3.5mm jack and hook it up to that loudspeaker (powerhorn)

does the loud speaker have some kind of amp? if so it should work what kind of loud speaker do you have
