Either way it is moot. I installed the TCM module yesterday. Works exactly as described on the GDE sight (Link in is this topic somewhere ). I have not had a chance to check mileage, but the earlier shift points work very well. I will be towing this weekend so we shall see.

I also purchased an unlimited torque eco tune. I should burn a couple of tanks with TCM, then add the tune and check it again, post it all up and see how effective each is. But I am not patient so I will just add em both and let the diesel gods sort it all out.

I am neither a computer guru or a whiz with the wrenches but so far I have managed to do no harm in the install. Pretty easy, Windows 7 has been the biggest annoyance, but Keith was able to get the updated drivers for me quickly.

TCM tune well worth it so far, my 3 cents.
