How much do you spend per month on fuel?

Until recently, I've never kept track of how much money we spend on fuel. So out of curiosity, I decided to start. Here’s my first month of fuel spending.

September
Diesel $109.85
Gas $236.27

Total Fuel: $346.12

About $80-$100 per month on 91 octane.

I bet you did not spend that much when you lived in Ulysses kansas. What was it three blocks to work and a mile in any direction and you were out in the country. :lol:

True, we were like Troy, we spent maybe $80 per month. That's why our KJ still has under 26,000 miles on her. :mrgreen:

Actually about $220 for the round trip there and back

,not bad for a 3 ton hog.Oh and it was 1320 miles there and back.

im 20...drive to community school and to work...all about 5 min away each...and sometimes steal gas from lawnmower can

Around 250 a month. I drive a company van so that is mostly for the jeep.

$50/month... and about 80% of my driving is work related. I live within four miles of everything (university, library, dentist, doctor, grocery store, walgreens, etc.) so I just bike everywhere and the Jeep sits in the garage. At this point, she carries me to the trailhead and the lake, and that's about it. :JEEPIN:

Life is too short to worry about how much I spend in gas.
I drive to get places, and I drive to go see family and friends, whatever the cost its worth it in the long run! Every two to three weeks I go down home to do things for my parents, I know there is at least 100 bucks.

Must say though that when my wife was teaching at Harvard those 11 hour drives one way every two weeks ate a large chunk of $$$$ :JEEPIN:

Roughly:
JEEP= at least $200 (if we don't go anywhere with it other than work)
Toyota= $100

My wife and I both put on about 20k a year in miles, most of hers is expensed, most of mine isn't

No older Lawn boy mowers were all 2cycle

I use about 3 tankfuls of diesel in an average month. so lets see a fill up is like 18-19 gallons at the current price of 2.85/ gallon. I'm spending like $165 a month. some of that is driving for work I get paid back for but most is me commuting and going places for myself like shopping to friends, gym, and bike trails.

I’m glad there’s somebody out there who spent more than I did. Just think of all the aftermarket mods we could buy with the gas money we burn? :banghead:
