Same problem and same fix as before. Pix aren't needed.

245's are just to wide a tire for a factory back spaced wheel. He needs to spend $200 on a set of spacers or at least $200 on some wheels with the correct BS.

How come i didn't notice the rubbing when i had the factory arms? are the JBA arms longer?

thanks

Yes the JBA arms are longer. Even with the stockers on not hitting the wheels, with a 245 on stock wheels, you were rubbing someplace else.

Could these spacers help out from JBA?

No, that is putting your wheel out less than 1/4". look for a quality set of 1.5" spacers like Spidertrax. Need 2 sets to match your track front and rear. Or spend about the same price on a set of wheels with the correct BS and not have to worry about all the potential issues with spacers.

so a 16x7 inch rim with a backspacing of about 4 inches??? (i have seen people run that) that would correct the problem?

16x7 4" bs is the most common and simple to acquire rim and is the rough equivalent of running spacers, black rock, crag, american all offer that variety in our bolt pattern

you still may (probably will) rub the pinch, and the front fender well where the fog light access doors are, just take care of the pinch and see if you get any liner rub, with that amount of spacing, you can stick your hand between the A-arm and the side of the tire at full droop

with a 16x7 inch rim and 4 inch backspacing... how much would it stick past the plastic fender?

just wondering.

also, i assume i can get these from summitracing or jegs?

and i haven't pounded the pinch weld yet.... i have no rubbing issues with that... very slight on the front bumper; on the fog light doors.. like you said.

if you turn your wheels until the edge of the tire is just past the pinch, get out, look, and then imagine the tire coming out 1-1 1/4" ;)

It'll rub.. everyone's rubs

No big Deal-Doh

Remember
For every action there is a reaction

For example
some one lifts their Jeep, it changes the way everything sits suspension wise, so then they get rubbing where it did not before.
You install larger tires, and now it rubs,
goes on and on
So you lift and see what happens
install larger tires and see what happens
after each thing you do you have to look at everything and change whatever isn't going to work any longer
Its part of what makes it fun!! :JEEPIN:
Same reason I tear mine down and change things just to see what else it changes! :pepper:

lifting the KJ's or any IFS that I'm aware of, narrows the front end's width due to the UCA / LCA being in fixed locations at the inner mount, when they're pointed downwards like a lifted KJ's stock uca's are, it draws the knuckle in, just one of the several reasons people all of a sudden get rubbing

not saying the tires don't get in that position during normal operations unlifted but the LCA / tire cant is different lifted and all of a sudden things rub that didn't rub before, even after alignment
