Well i finally Got my FrankyII installed, took it to get aligned and my new tires. The alignment guy aligned it but told me couldn't do anything with the front camber and caster because it was lifted. It is still at the same setting as when I took it in to them. Is this normal or was the guy just not feeling up to doing it? If so should I get it done correctly prior to my trip down to SC? Ohh and pics will be posted after I get the camera back from SC where my bro just got in from Afghanistan. Thanks.

There's one of the setting that they generally can't get in - but they can get very close (I think it's camber) - you need Jeepin Al's extended A arms to actually get it centered.

However as close as they can generally works very well - sounds like your alignment tech didn't even want to try.

(I got a lifetime alignment at Firestone and bring it back a couple of times a year)

Both caster and camber are still very adjustable in a lifted KJ.The problem is both caster and camber are adjusted from the LCA cam bolts so niether one is seperatly adjustable.Even with stock UCA's you can get camber into specs but getting caster back into spec as well is pretty hard till the coils have been broken in fully. You can always sacrifice caster for camber but the caster must be more then 2 degrees and no more then 0.5 degrees difference between the left and right side.Caster is not a tire wearing angle, camber is though.

The place you took it to was lazy or scared, take it back and have them fix it and tell them camber can be set in spec and get caster close and pretty even.

Ditto to what tjkj said. I just got my lift installed and got it aligned this weekend. The Camber they got close, and the caster too, but the caster they said would be a little bit off from what it should be. I also got mine aligned at Firestone.

x3 on Troy's comment. Even as high as I am lifted, at Firestone, the guy that knows what he is doing and took his time was able to get caster, camber, and toe all within spec on mine.

Ok well i took it back had a "SR tech" do it this am. Got everything pretty close...a lot closer than it was before. Gonna ride like it is now for about 750 to a thousand mile til everything breaks in then i will prob try either the stealership or firestone to get it realigned. Thanks for all the help guys. Pics will have to wait until thurs at the earliest.
