LOL I saw an old diesel rabbit the other day at Lowe's and a slim middle ages woman was driving it. That thing had to be over 20 years old... still looked nice and hell it drove.... will a Prius last that long? I doubt it. if the batties don't fail and cost more than the car is worth then the Headlights will and the rest will likely not be worth repairing in 20 years.

I have the ECO tune now and mine is even faster. It sure is fun to charge up a freeway on ramp and rocket my way into traffic.

Mate, some of those Foresters are Subaru WRXs and STi's with turbocharged 300bhp engines and different sheetmetal. Perhaps you should refrain from posting until you're educated :)

Stop driving the beast like Girlie men. You guys drive your CRD's gingerly, you need to punch the pedal to the metal and see how quickly she reaches top speed (110 to 120 or more) and then repost back.

If your Turbo is clean and working properly, you should have no problem reaching top speed.

If you have never punched your turbo then it's probably clogged and will throw a turbo overboost or underboost code and your vehicle will go into limp mode.

Turn the key off and on again to temporarily get out of limp mode, you will need a scanner to turn the engine light off and then you should begin the process of blowing the gunk out of the turbo by punching it from a dead stop while on an incline.

Take her out for a spin and make sure to change the oil and filter.

Post back when you know what you're talking about.

Don't worry. I have driven all of my vehicles to their full potential. You obviously have no idea what a Forester is. It's okay, most people don't know what it is. They always ask me what it is after I beat them. This includes the Grand Cherokee SRT8. I see that me and WelshCherokeeCRD are on the same page. I still love the little Jeep though!
