No need to upgrade the TC in order to run the GDE trans tune. In stock or tuned form, the stock TC is lacking and will eventually wear out unless the CRD is always parked or never sees any towing.
GDE,
I'm at 94K miles.
I need to do my timing belt maintenance soon, which will leave me out of commission for a few days. During that time, I'd like to upgrade the TCM and go for the Hot Tune (I think you have an offer for those of us upgrading from the ECO to HOT tune, right?) then. However, I need to move to a better TC, too. I already have the ECO tune.
1] How difficult is it to change the TC?
2] Is it possible to put a deposit down now to take advantage of the Group buy?
3] Would the discount only apply to a TCM or to both a TCM and towards the upgrade to the HOT from the ECO tune?
