I think my front brakes are nearing the end of their life. they keep sqeeeling when applied for a few days.

So I was at Autozone and was thalking to th guy I know there. and he says yeah sounds like its soon time and gives me what I think is a good deal on a set. $24 for Duralast Gold Ceramic. I think thats like 50% off. Any one know how good they are?

Your paying $23 to much for them, considering we can get them at work for about $10 wholesale.

I put C-Max Ceramic pads on my Ram 1500 from autozone and they SUCKED. I hated those pads so bad that after 6 months I couldn't stand it anymore and I ripped them off the truck and took them back to the store and demanded a swap for some semi-metallics. I'll never touch a ceramic pad again. It dusted worse than stock, provided less stopping power, wore the rotors faster, and gave a squishy feel to the pedal for a few thousand miles due to the backing material on the pads themselves. A major waste of money....

^You do realize the liberty came stock with ceramic pads correct? A good ceramic pad will not dust. Personally I use Napa Adaptive One pads..

Did it? Maybe that's why I have to clean the dust off my wheels once per week with shop towels.

Maybe. But maybe not. I never had a problem with my pads dusting. My wheel always looked clean.

My current pads do dust up the wheels not sure what they are. I guess I'm going to put on what I have now and see what they are like.
