Back on topic, Now they say the EGR is bad so today I am going to pull it and clean it and then try it over the next few days. If it does not improve, I will buy a new EGR and install it along with the #2 Glow Plug.

Also the dealer said they hooked up and read that the cam gears are in time. I think I will still check them.

Don't forget to use the propriataryspetzilgasket with four bolt holes and no center hole :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL:
I heard that German Engineered gasket is the ticket to better fuel economy and longer engine life with any tune.

I scanned it with my VAGCOM and it did not pull an EGR code only a GP #2 code. So I am not a happy camper.

I just installed a new MAF

You can use vag-com to get the part number for the ECM and TCM that indicate the flash revision level too
I'm not exactly sure where but as I recall it's in the right colum and reads something like vehicle information" and wil have 2 entries, 41 & 42, with thepart numbers.
For the TCM if the last 2 positions are "AJ" then you got flashed
Anything earlier like Ai AF is pre f37

If you can't find it I'll run mine and record exactly where it is in vag-com but I believe it's on the same screen that has OBDii on it

well the F/W seperator that the deraler installed is leaking air into the system. I have to bleed it almost everyday now. This weekend I am going to swap it with the old one and see if anything getts better. If it does then I am going to be pissed off and in a really bad mood when I go back to the dealer.
