Rules of off road.... rule number 1 don't have 2 whee drive.... rule number 2 always have recovery points.... rule number 3 never off road alone... oops.. lol
Just spent the last half hour almost knee deep in mud. Thanks random guy who stopped and pulled me out.. haha

Posting from my phone so its a pain in the booty. Long story short..... I saw some water and wanted to get the Jeep dirtier.. made it about 90% through and spin time haha. O and its a good idea to shut the drivers door while giving throttle in reverse with ESP off. Haha.

Pics to follow in a few..

That sucks stupid! I know my KK in 2wd doesn't get over much I have not engaged it in places I think oh it should make it and sure enough I have had to put it into 4hi.
I had a 88 Dodge RamCharger and I went to the beach and thought the 4hi or lo was working and I found out the hard way it was not working, after my rear dif was touching the sand it was awesome :x , had to walk to find a pay phone a few miles out (no Cell for me 14yrs ago), and call a tow truck. Hard lesson learned for me, make sure it works.
do you have somewhat aggressive tires or are they the Suck, I mean the Stock?

BAHHHH.. so.. i went to get the pic i took on my old phone (just got a new android) cuz i didn't want to get mud/scratches on the new screen.. Anyway, went to turn the phone on and nada. i kinda dropped it in the mud, but didnt think it got that wet, haha.. So, i went to take the SD card out (where the pic shoulda saved) and it musta saved to the phone.. so pissed.. it was pretty awesome looking stuck.

ill go back and take pics of the area later today.

for the meantime, heres some pics i took after i got home with the new phone.. pardon the edits and borders.. :ROTFL: was using photoshop express to play with the pics.. the pic of the rear end is just showing the area where i attached the chain. right in that opening to the left of the spare was where i hooked it up. the mud/water was up to bottom of the sway bar.

i will be getting a hitch, with a hook and some hooks for the front. (thought about a winch, but theres nothing to winch to out here in the desert) maybe pickup the backbone system when i move back to MI.

the tires i have on here are not stock, but they aren't real good for mud either (not like the tires woulda helped my whimpy 4x2 anyway) but they are the kumho KL78 road ventures. you can see them in the pic above ^^^^

I WILL keep my HD camera in the car 24/7 from now on in case something like this happens again.

I will also get some 2"x6's, a BFH, tow strap and the hooks before i do anything like this again.. :ROTFL:
