I just got my new rubber on my KK, 245/70R16 with the stock suspension. I already trimmed the plastic on the front bumper to avoid the rub, but I plan on doing some pinch weld pounding on the back side today. For people who have done this, what do you recommend? It seems like it would be almost impossible to just pound the weld straight back so I was thinking about trying to bend it inward or outward. Any suggestions? The rub isn't too bad and its only at about 85%-90% lock so it won't happen that often, but I figure I should just get it done.

I also plan to take a bunch of pics and post a quick how-to for everybody else, so any tips or specifics would help. Thanks!!

Wow, relief cuts.. I NEVER even thought of that. Makes perfect sense though. Looks like I have to go down to Lowes for a new saw blade. Which means I'll walk in expecting to spend 5 bucks on a new saw blade and I'll walk out with a cart full of goodies. I LOVE the hardware store.

either find a budy with a heat gun or buy one to re mold the inner fender. just heat the area you want to re form take a set of welding gloves or your wifes oven gloves and one of those screw drivers witht he hard plastic ball on the handle just heat it up and apply pressure to where you want it to stay work it a little then hold till it cools the inner should stay there good luck.
