Hi everyone, im a new member and i wanted to upgrade my exhaust with a new performance muffler and after a survey using cardomain i found out that the best for the kj are the magnaflow and flowmaster.

to cut the shipping cost a bit ill only buy a muffler not a whole catback so i dont know exactly the dimensions of the stock muffler and which to select in both brands.

ill appreciate it alot if someone could help me and tell me the one that would fit right in in both brands so i could compare prices.

thanks and check my profile sometime... im still new so please be gentle :)

Congrats on joining our forum. You will love it here!
I have the Flowmaster Supper 44 and I love it. Increase in MPG, instant "get the f*** outta my way," and oh yeah it's loud as hell!
If that's what you are going for then I'd go with that.
I have been meaning to get some video and might do that this week!

Thanks for the fast reply im loving the forum already,
about the muffler though i would prefer something maybe a bit more quiet but still gives a good kick i think maybe the flowmaster 50 or the magnaflow would be like that??
what do you think?

Ok so Magnaflow but which part number would fit
the bolt on catback system that they have for the 04 liberty includes a 5"x8"x24" oval muffler with 2.5" inlet and outlet with center inlet and offset outlet.
is that correct and if so is the right part number for it 12256 for the SS and 14256 for the polished???

Nice mellow sound when ideling, and no drone on the road, can hear it but still can talk when driving
sounds real good at 85 plus ( and still climbing) with the pedal flat on the floor passing another LOST member :ROTFL:

That would be dynomx ultrflo. The flowmaster super 44 sounds the best but the dynomax out performs the flowmaster imho and is much quiter. There is a youtube video I made of the ultraflow in the performance section.

Definitely Dynomax Ultraflow Stainless Steel.
It is the best. No droning sound on eway but it for sure sounds great when you take off.
Cheaper than Magnaflow and Flowmaster

flowmasters are great but they're loud.

Love the dynomax. Slightly more grunt than stock but by no means loud.

think about it this way ...there is only one aftermarket exhaust for the liberty and it is a magnaflow
I was a flowmaster fan till i put one on the wifes sports car then I HAD to get one for my jeep
I went with a cherry bomb style magnaflow it is a direct fit
Image
and if you want to hear it on the jeep check out the videos

or

I absolutely love my ultra flow. The ability to hear better while cruising on the highway is a very nice feature when compared to the flowmaster I had on before.
