Alignment problems after Rusty's lift

Has anyone experience getin the alignment dialed in after putting on the Rusty's 2.5" coil lift?? I had my neighbor who works at Sears auto center try to do my alignment yesterday and he could not get the driver side cast/camber dialed in. The passenger side went fine but the driver side wouldn't. Him and I checked my install of the lift and everything is in order. Anyone else have this issue and know of any problem solvers! Help would be EXTREMELY apreciated.

Oh yeah I have an '05 sport by the way!

I took about seven months to finally do my alignment. I guess I wanted to wear out those SRA stocks so I could justify quality tires. Anyways, I took mine to the Jeep Dealership and told them to align them to specs. They never said anything about any issues so I guess they didn't have any problems.

I have the frankenlift, and I took mine to a place that does computerized alignments. They couldn't get one side within the recommended specs either- I think it was the passenger side on mine that was off. Only off a little, just rotate the tires every 3000 miles. If you want it to be exactly where it should be, get some of Al's new upper control arms. Look for the post somewhere in the 4X4 section.

i have the rustys lift and no issues with getting proper alignment from the local tire shop

i have rust lift and had it done this morning and the guys at the local goodyear said it was pretty easy to get it back to factory spec with no problems,this doesnt help you, but i drove it 143 miles before getting it done just so every thing was ok before spending the money?

Here is a tip for everyone:

If you take your vehicle to get it aligned and the first thing they do is NOT check tire pressure to make sure they are all equal....Take it to another set of weed retards!

Make sure you wait a few weeks, after installing any lift, before getting the alignment. Give the lift time to settle in. Just don't wait as long as I did....unless you want to wear out your stock tires faster so you can get some good ones.

when lifting all vehicles, one of the specs (I forget if it's camber or caster) changes. So technically, even if you could get it in spec it would be out of spec. I saw that on Truck TV.

Some good info guys. Thanks. I put about 150 miles on the jeep after installing the liftbefore going and gettin the alignment done. I mean it wasn't pulling to bad after I put the lift on. Then I got the alignment doen and as soon as I let go of the wheel the jeep screams hard left. I don't know i'm goona try another shop and see if they can get it. Maybe just a bad tech????

Take it back to the place you went the first time! They should do the job right. If not perfectly in spec, at least better than that. Several people here have said that they were able to get it back where it needed to be w/the Rusty's lift. My KJ w/Frankenlift is close enough that it tarcks straight. Make them fix it!

pulling to one side CAN be corrected, regardless of lift. That's all they likely did was Toe adjustment, and they obviously screwed it up or left it loose.

Take it back. Get a more senior tech to fix it.
