Ok whats the fastest anyones driven their KJ? I was just wondering lol. I know these aren't made for speed but hey... I havent really pushed mine. I had it to 90mph the other day. In my Camaro I let off the gas at 140mph...thats the fastest I've ever been in my life.

128 +/-1mph post lift, after engine mods and b&g's with skids before steel bumpers on street tires on a temporarily closed military aircraft runway

keep it off the highways

the fella from VA, can't remember his SN, got some pretty decent times on the track driving his on it's doorhandles

stock is limited without specific modifications

115 i'd assume would be achievable via either the speedo lying, or discrepancy due to tire size

or your eyeballs vibrating

128 with a brand new suspension and street tires with about 5-8mph wind was very unstable and dangerous, it started floating pretty heavily aerodynamically at about 120 to the point where if i had been on a public road i would have been straddling lanes

I got to 90 in my CRD once. I wasnt really trying just crusing down I83 tward Maryland with bikes on the back. Looked down at the speedo cus it seems like I was really moving and I sure was.

two other times I did 100 was in my first car the '76 aspen with slant 6 engine, I think that was pushing the limit of that poor old car. The other was in my '87 Prelude Si. the car was older then but still the engine felt like it would do more but the car was a but shakey. being that the Prelude was so low it felt very fast.

Like 115 down a hill in the passing lane. Passed about 10 cars, and all the drivers had stunned looks on their faces haha. I dont like going fast in the jeep though, thats just asking for trouble.

I went 130 the other day on my Ninja 650. Not smart, but fun for a few seconds lol.

91 in the KJ, by myself with no one else on the road just to see what she could do – and honestly it took way too long to get there so I let off getting worried about speed traps.

151 MPH estimated on my very modified 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200s only for a little bit before I let off. I say estimated because I re-geared the front sprocket by 1 tooth smaller which should have affected the speedo by about 16%. At the time the gauge was pinned passed 180 MPH and I still had another 2,000 to go on the RPMs. That was a few years ago when I was younger and dumber.

My greatest speed accomplishment was reaching 49 mph my Specialized Stumpjumper FSR coming down the Toll Road at Stowe, Vt the summer of 2003 - I honestly didn't know you were not allowed to bike down it at the time but man was that intense! The entire mountain was all fogged in so the road was empty. My wheels are in the air by just a few inches longer than they are in contact with the ground – for a brief moment you hear the stones kicking all over the place against the frame and then nothing but rushing wind for about 3 times as long. Awesome time.

Got 111 off the GPS going down I-26 at about 3 am on the way to the beach one day.
166 in a 1993 turbo diesel I-5 mercedes Benz and felt as solid as a rock.
172 in a twin turbo Audi A4 with a full roll cage and only 2 seats still had AC and radio (god do i miss that car)

About 165MPH in a NASCAR ride along at the Michigan International Speedway as part of a bachelor party. That was completely awesome and you want to talk about acceleration and grip on the road...man those cars are incredible.

Fastest ever in my KJ
180km/112mph (didn't know the KJ was limited at 114mph, I was looking for it. Shortly after I purchased the Liberty my friend found his V8 Dakota was limited to 100mph, so I was concerned the Liberty was as well, thus at 4am one morning I went and rang it out on the highway).

Fastest ever
285km/178mph in a Lister Storm, Germany on the Autobahn. Had an Audi TT roadster up to about 250km/155mph for almost the entire trip from Bremen to Hannover and learned the hard way not to drive that fast with the top down, went deaf for a few days.

I thought it was just jeeps. Well I have have maany fast cars in my day and from the ages of 17-20 I did some stupid things. I have ownd a high 12 sec low 13 sec 87 gt fox body mustang and 2 low 12 sec dsms. The current dsm I own is the fastest car I have ever driven. If I had goood tires and a clutch it would be every bit of an 11sec car. I won't say my speeds because I was stupid and it was VERY wrong.
