Hey all,

My 31'' tires used to rub the front outer edge of my bumper until I got my tires worn down to nubs. After installing JBAs A-arms rubbings back and it's worse than it was originally.

Any one else get that, is it normal?

It's a jeep thing, my levels of perception are sufficient to ascertain your implication

Since JBA's arms push the top of the tire out, yes, its normal.

Have you gotten an alignment since installing those?

Yeah, had them aligned already. I guess I'll just do some more trimming. I need new tires and it'll be unbearable with new tread.

Thanks!

What is the backspacing on your wheels? When you go to a larger and wider tire, you either need spacers, or the correct BS'ed wheel.

Sorry took so long to reply Daspes. I'm running 3.75 backspacing on my wheels.

Thats part of the problem right there
what width?
Need to stay closer to 4 or 4.5 inches of backspacing
we don't have a ton of room to be running wheels with that type of backspacing, sits them out way too much and then you get more rubbing

yeah i agree with Tom...

you need more backspacing than 3.75"...i was going to go with 15's but i didnt want issues with them...
sorta like what you're dealing with...

so when are you up for some wheeling? i know a place where you and your family can go, but it's a couple hrs away...hope to run into you all at mc d's sat..LOL 8)

:ROTFL: at your McD's comment BlackWidow. Dunno when gonna wheel, gotta get all the boxes unpacked. Probably not until spring.

Well, poop, I'm not replacing wheels anytime soon, so I guess I'm putting up with it. At some point I'd like to get rid of stock bumper anyway and that should solve it.

Thanks all!
