Rear shocks with longer travel are recomended, the stock ones can easily be maxed out and blown. I had the skyjacker h7088's on, but thought they were a bit noisy and too stiff. I went back to the stockers temporarily, but i wont go trying to flex the rear too hard. If i were you i would probably try the bilsteins, more expensive but worth it.

Oh yea, new front shocks arent mandatory because of the design of the lift with the recessed top plate. I would order terraflex extended bumpstops to prevent over compression though, for some reason daystar doesnt include them in the kit you bought.

If you are going to run the Daystar kit, replace the rear shocks at your earliest convience. I had the Skyjackers, but replaced them with Bilstiens. Marlin at JBA can help you with that. BDS is another good choice for shocks.

so shocks asap but not right away, esepcially considering i dont do any hardcore off roading. BUT new bump stop swould be ideal, i suppose i can have em thrown in when the lift is being sitalled. (Yes, i said installed... :banghead: )

Nothing wrong with having lift installed. If its being done in someone else's garage, get in there and turn a wrench or two and feed the crew. If you can swing the $'s for shocks now, get them now. If not, first thing on the list to get next. Plenty of on-road hazards to stress out shocks. Also, you wont have to take your vehicle back in a second time when you add them later. Bump stops are good to have. Some of them can be rascals to put in simply due to tight fit. Little bit of dish soap can help there. Pics when it is done. :JEEPIN:
