engine light came on ...stopped at autozone...result....
cylinder #5 misfire
cause?
spark plugs, ignition coil
or
vaccum leak
or
injector fault
or
high or low fuel pressure

i bought some gum out injector cleaner, thinking with all the ethenol maybe that would make a cylinder misfire, plus thats the cheapest,
will my light shut off automatically or do i need to reset it?

this ever happen to anyone before, my 08 4x4 kk has 56k miles

well i treated the fuel and the light shut off after about 50 miles

You can disconnect the battery to reset the comp.

Have you ever changed the plugs? They need to be changed every 30k in your engine,OE copper core plugs are the best for your engine.

thanks , i will need plugs soon then, i changed them at 30, but used a platinnum, i will look at copper ones next time, which one do you recommend
