Ok I drove to work in the snowy dark with the silver-stars must say there is an improvement for the brights, didn't notice a difference with lows. Are they worth the cost and short life? IDK

My brother in law has not gotten back to me, but I think I was misinformed anyway because I looked at a few other Liberty KK headlights out there and they all have this deflector in front of the bulb, granted all I saw were round and mine are rectangular, I think all I have is a deflector. So my apologies. Here is a pic of my headlight lit up anyway:

I had 6k with projectors put in mine (my brother in law does car audio and related for a living). I have low beam and high beam. I'm pretty sure they aren't legal too unless they are stock. But I don't put to much into my local officials knowing what is stock and not. MA state inspection is pretty strict though and I passed fine. They are adjusted down a bit and I almost never have used the high beams. I've had them since the beginning of the year and I only have been flashed by others a handful of times, not much more than usual. I hated the lack of light that came stock, but I really don't like the way the wanna be HIDs look. I'm really happy with my HIDs, they look nice on the KK with the big headlights and the chrome and it's much safer traveling at night.

Can you let us know where you got the projector style? I would be interested to see how much they are?

Get the best Silverstars your wallet can afford, and yellow Nokya Pro fogs.

Yeah, I thought I had projectors because of the piece in front of the bulb. This is what my brother in law had to say (he installed them, does this kind of work....he also tinted my windows and swapped out my radio, thinking of replacing my spare with a box)...

"The lights in your jeep are HID replacement bulb and ballast kit. No there are no projectors to the bulb that would be a replacement lens on the headlight. Not sure if they make on for your jeep. I can buy them here and ship if you like. Although I would need to check price. I thinks its about 150 per set. Install is relatively easy. just replace the light bulb and run the new harness. The power draw on the new light is a little stronger on the system so the harness will keep from having any problems with the factory wiring not being strong enough for the current load."

Are the Nokya Pro fogs legal? I think I have seem them on the road before on a car that was also using Halo's.

Completely legal to use yellow fogs. Nationwide? I don't know. But I would be surprised if they were illegal in any state. Some cars come with them as stock. Lexus GS's (old ones) are one example.

definitely get a good set of fogs. whenever i have my yellow nokia fogs on i get high beamed and they light up the road very well. its kind of weird at first getting used to the yellow road directly in front of you but after a few nights you wont even notice and will look weird without them on.

Just don't forget to pull up to a wall of some kind (on a level surface) and check to see if they're level.

I just installed silver-stars, to try for myself and see what the difference is. I now know that they only warranty them for 12 months you give up live for light. Will it be worth it? let you know Friday.
And I get flashed all the time with my stock headlights.

If you are getting flashed all the time with your stock headlights they are probably out of alignment. Going to brighter ones will only get you more flashes if you don't have them aligned.

Actually have not been flashed since the silverstars.
It was always on the same road before so maybe it was the same driver.

HID's are only legal if they are OEM. I find it odd that the KK headlights suck. My KJ lights kicked booty and my XK lights kick booty. Odd that they would screw it up on the KK.

Having owned an XK then the KK.The reason why the XK light's are better is that it has a four headlight system while the KK has a two head light system. Where the XK High Beam light's are is where the KK Fog light's are. Also when the XK's light's are on High Beam , the Low Beam Bulb light's up also.

Im thinking about upgrading to Sylvianas but in my search for the right ones, Ive found that there are a few different styles/connectors. Anyone know which ones are the right/best ones for the KK? A part number?

Update: I decided to take the plunge and just order the ones the website recommended.
I got these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EQ ... ss_product
I hope they arent too difficult to put in.

I just installed some Philips X-treme Power headlights... makes a huge difference in the distance ahead that I can see. Really more focused then the stockers.

Here's a link for them:

http://www.lighting.philips.com/us_en/a ... d=&lang=en

I read through a bunch of light reviews and they seem to be the best overall for a halogen replacement. I'm going to install my Nokya Hyper Yellow fogs tomorrow and will hopefully get a picture of them both.

Those are the correct ones, bought mine from amazon as well. Very easy to install, just make sure you take out the little red/gray grommet that is on the original light bulbs.
