I'm really sorry you have to deal with this Tom.

If you do get a lead on them let us know! I'd love to see their faces when a posse of Jeeps comes after them...where could they hide that we couldn't follow!

It's not even my Jeep and it makes me want to hurt somebody.

Did they key it too? Looks like your door is messed up?

A door ding's one thing, but brake fluid like FT's or a busted window over some Christmas cards..

I'm not callin the cops, I'm callin your next of kin, after the fact. With your cell phone. To let them know what a oxygen thief you are..

Not like walmart's going to produce a video timely... right?

After having two stereo's stolen back in college, I learned to never leave things visibly out in the open, no matter how short of a visit it is to the store or other type of business. Even at a friend's house.

In plain view? It will become smash and grab.

I hide my GPS, mp3, and anything else worth taking in the center console or covered up by a jacket or shirt on the floor of the back seats (tinted windows makes it harder to see items).

Tom, did you have the security code set for your GPS? Was it a high level GPS that can be tracked?

It was off and locked so it will be no use to them.
Plus they did not get the cable since it was ran in behind the dash and up through
Most times I hide it, but all it takes is one time :banghead: right

So this was more of a Public Service Announcement for everyone to be careful

It would be worth the drive up there with my swinging chain saw chain if you find the "A" hole! Just one or two swings and he would look like hamburger!! Good luck with all this Tom!

That's a crappy thing to have to happen right before the holidays, sorry to see that Tom! That's one reason I usually park a little farther out when I go to Wal-Mart, cuz the sons-of-b*tch*s that would rather steal because they're too lazy to work are usually too lazy to walk very far to even steal. A word of caution, not that it's any consolation to you Tom :( but this is just a reminder to everybody to be aware of your surroundings! Especially around the holidays. Last year a friends Cherokee was stolen from a church parking lot, loaded with a ton of money in wrapped Christmas presents. People can be real scumbags! Hopefully this won't ruin your holiday spirit, however! There still are good people out there, just like all the people here on the L.O.S.T board! Merry Christmas everybody!

I am with Tom i would want them to see my front bumper and the underside of my jeep. But i wouldn't want them to die i would want them to suffer. I hope walmarx doesn't screw you around to much even though i see it has already started. I think it is time to hit the Junk yards to find a new passenger window might as well grab all the glass while your at it for your "warehouse". And all i got to say is fu** insurance they take about 2k a year from me. And i have yet to really get anything back from it except a pain in the stupid.

Sorry to hear Tom. =[ Same thing happened to me about a month ago. It was broad daylight and they stole my $400 stereo. They also broke into a friend's car but didn't take anything. Did a little over a grand of damage. Guess people are too lazy to pay for there own stuff. That sucks but it could have been a lot worse!

That's the safest place to park because people are too lazy to take their empty shopping cart to the return stand.....even watched people parked next to it too lazy to push it there.

Homeowners Insurance covers all personal property even if it is inside a vehicle.. Could always say they took your cds to cover up for the deduct...

Then again what am i saying... My garage was broke into about 4 months ago when i was in the process of moving... They stole everything a 54" wide tool chest you know the big booty craftsman one and a 60 gallon air compressor... Seriously was this a team or the joly green giant... cause that thing was loaded with tools and i have a gravel driveway!!!! FML

When we were in Canada this summer you had to put a Canadian dollar coin into a device attached to the shopping cart to release it. The dollar stayed in the cart until you returned it. When you pushed the key that was released back into the device that was on the cart to lock it back into place you got your dollar back. Guess what? There were no carts wandering around free in the parking lot.
