Hello Out There,

So in my previous post, I mentioned that the engine lost power on slowing down at an offramp: shutting down and re-priming. Seemed to solve the problem that day but I replaced my fuel filter anyway and things seemed be fine.

However, twice in the last four weeks I've have the same "loss of power/engine running like it's skipping cylinders" problem when I've been slowing down for a stop sign from about 35mph. The first time I had been driving for about 10 minutes and the second time the vehicle had only been running for about a minute.

In both instances, hitting the "gas" pedal in normal acceleration mode solved the problem and the Libby picked up right where it left off.

I'm curious to hear y'alls thoughts on the subject.

I'm thinking you have an airleak/fuel draw issue that is SO common with our CRDS. A new filter head (new OEM one or a Racor which I use and love) and a lift pump I feel are almost mandatory for our CRDs.
