Both passenger side shocks are blown and sound like a bed at a cruddy hotel. I plan on ordering a medium duty OME suspension from one of a few places. Any recommendations with price, availability or shipping costs in mind? I'm looking at either OK4wd which is some what local (50 miles) or quadratec.

Anyone with buddha like incite enlightenment would be appreciated!

Thanks.

I've bought from OK4WD before dealt with Rob
and of course AllJs and JeepinbyAl
both of the last two support us so always try and deal with them
springs are about the same price everywhere, but shipping comes into play
JBA would not be too far from you
shocks vary more

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll probably call OK in a few minutes. They seem cheapest and I can hopefully avoid shipping by cruising down there.

Read your tag on the reply. Cant agree more with the holes in the jeep quip... the liberty sure needs allot more then most ;)

It is done. Either I had to wait for a stocking order or get them shipped to the house. 60 dollars shipping gets em to me in time to install this weekend. Thanks again.

So where did you order from and what all did you get?
I assume you are getting new shocks as well but what kind?
If you went with OME shocks hope you remembered that the 132s are the same length as stock for the rear , need the 132Ls

Well - for future note - if you order from All-J's - Heather and Quinn know more about KJ's than just about anyone on the web - if you have a questions - odds are they've tried it and know why it will or won't work.

Medium all around, 132ls for the back. :D

Will be trying to install this weekend. I have yet to do work to the suspension. If I'm not mistaken a spring compressor, metric\standard sockets and some normal garage tools will do this.. yes? Any thoughts or comments please let em fly.

If you have a garage with a wall mounted spring compressor it works a whole lot better and faster, the coils on a KJ are real tight and hard to get most compressors in to do it safely.
I pull the fronts out run them to the shop, do the rear springs, bumpstops, shocks while waiting and then throw the fronts in. 2 hours or so and you're done that way.

Hmmm, I need to find a friendly garage then. Hell Id pay them whatever there rate is to do the whole install but most places I go and say I have shocks and springs, they have no interest or tell me it will be a 1 or 2 hour job per corner (which I believe to be BS, especially when you tell me 2 hours(ish with a nice compressor.)

Your tag says your in Ohio but do you have any recommendations or contacts out in NEast PA?

Yes two hours per corner is BS,
I have done a few so now a few tricks but still :banghead:
even first time you should be no longer than 4 hours total
rear is a 20-30 minute job at most even drilling for bumpstops.
Don't know of any place in your area. May hit up some members from over that way for a good shop or even a lift party!
