Took mine in foir the F37 (104,000 miles) since they are supposed to replace the TC for free...they did the work and I still have shudder. I suspect they just put a stock TC in because it was already in stock.

I think the correct part number is #68037142AA ... can anyone verify that please?

Thank You in Advance...Wally

P04736914AA is a good torque converter number although old. Just make sure that the hub is clean. If it has rust on the portion of the hub that inserts into the transmission pump then send it back, don't sand it off and use it. That area should have been covered by a plastic cap.

TTP0168B0399 is (I think) the serial number.

I'm not sure what 914AA0168A means, could be a date code for a '914AA' converter.

You should be good to go.

and FYI - if you post in General you confuse the gasser folks - they don't keep track of Torque converters or part numbers

Allowed - yes

but to have a reasonable expectation of a response - not likely

(over in the CRD section - this would have had 1/2 dozen answers before I got to the computer)
