For the rear shock, is there one available that will work on stock or lifted? I read rancho had one, but is discontinued... I plan to lift, but can't afford it atm, one of rear is leaking.

for the 245/70/16 tires, will the crager soft 8s with less bs work better then stock rims as far as fit?

The ones we are using are the Durango/Dakota shocks. They are way to long for a stock KJ.

Offset rims will make your rubbing issues worse, not better.

Ok.... But is there a shock that will work stock or lifted? So if I do lift, I can keep shocks?

You could try OME N132 (so not the L version)

They are just a little longer than stock and work with the 947/948 springs.

I f you look at the pics you'll see the 132 is only a little longer, so while they will work , they will not allow full droop and will over time will over extend your shock when lifted

You might ask around for someone who has replaced their stock shocks during a lift. You can probably get cheaply from someone on here (if not free).
