I just got me a oil pressure gauge and before i look for it, where is the oil pressure sensor on the liberty? i need to replace it with the one that came with it. and also, do i need to change the oil when i do this or can i just pop it off and put it on? I will be doing a write up on this when i get it done in case anyone else wants to do it

Thanks, Steve

From what I read in another post, the oil sender is by the oil filter. Kinda behind it IIRC. I think you have to install a tee fitting and run the stock sender and the after market unit. Think a fault code pops up or something if the ecm doesn't receive a signal from the oil sender. Was a while ago when I read the HOW TO: post on installing the after market unit. Decided it was more work than I wanted to do.

The oil sending unit is directly above the oil filter, right on the front. should take you about 20 min. to remove and reinstall it.
