So I was thinking. Now I am almost sure this wouldn't work for many reasons but I was just thinking. 5" lift!!!!!! A rusty's 2.5" spacer kit installed on top of a rusty's 2.5" coil spring lift......5" you think your CV joint would just give up? And would the a-arms allow for that amount of lift. I know this sounds silly but what else am I going to do in class????
Don't say study.....

No, you cannot get 5" of lift b/c of the upper a-arms. I believe 3.5-4in is the most you can get with the upper arm riding on the springs. You need to study, or listen to the teacher, works for me!

Yes, al does have MASSIVE amounts of lift, but he also fabbed his own upper arms...that said, he does sell them, but you'd have to talk to him to find out what max lift is with them....

i believe Al also has RE rear control arms and he did something to the top triangle looking link for the rear. Besides that and his special upper a-arms, I don't think he had to change much else. I know it took a lot of experimenting on his part (he is an engineer) to make things work...

I'm pretty sure those were custom Rusty's adjustable rear control arms.

You would be correct on this.

I talk to Al pretty much weekly and you all can not imagine the things he dreams up.

If you want a 5" lift that will be completly functional than you will have to wait until after Al goes to MOAB and tests out his newest creation.

"When my Jeep sleeps it dreams of being in the JeepinAl garage" (Or is that me)

I actually dont even want 5" of lift. For my applications that's too much lift. (I know some people feel there is not such thing as too much lift) But when your driving mostly highway my MPG are bad enough as is. It was just a thought. Does Al have a website I could check out? I hear alot about him but never see him post (or at least never noticed it)

I can fix broken things all day long like no other, but it takes a special mind to create new/better things and for this he receives my respect!
