tommudd - I understand what you're saying, I have only taken my Renny on easy trails mainly as it is still stock. Nothing to worry about there. Now Wheeling in my '78 SWB Dodge is another story. Ofcourse I used to blast Hank Sr. and Marty Robbins in my CJ7 with the top-off tearing-it-up. :JEEPIN:

You pretty much had to have that 8-track cranked... That's right I said 8-track.

'Tis no greater redneck moment then blasting down a mountain road in a lifted V8 powered CJ with the top off, a loaded shotgun, a dog hanging out in the back, and Hank wailing away on 8-track!

After a good day of wheelin’, I like to listen to a little Dwight Yoakam and Lucinda Williams when I get to the campsite. Or I tune to XM Satellite Radio (Outlaw Country). :CAMPING:

Most of the time, I'm too paranoid about something breaking in the Jeep to have music going. I spend most of the trips listening for bad noises. On longer trips I have been known to hook up the Ipod. I think JL Rockies heard RIck James coming from my Jeep somewhere on the White Rim.
