Hi all,
I am prep'ing for my drive across the country and yesterday we got a very big snowfall here in PA. after driving home and using part time and low in a couple spots something strange happened with the dash lights. When it is in 2wd it now says part time. when it is in part time no lights on the dash come on and when it is in low the 4low and the traction control lights are on. Whats going on here? It all seems to work fine but the lights are all screwed up. I was thinking of disconnecting the battery for a bit and see if that resets anything

Thanks for the feedback guys. I decided to pull it in the garage and let all the ice thaw off. sitting there with the battery disconnected. I was thinking some sensor may have gotten ice built up on it or something. maybe the thaw will help it out

lucky your garage has enough warmth to thaw it :(

thermometer in my garage says 11 degrees.. which is about the same as outside the garage door lol

There's no wind in the garage so it doesn't bother me much, I'm my own walking furnace

The position sensor tends to do that. I'm not sure why. Mine particularly acts up after a t-case fluid change or after engine braking down a steep trail in 4 low. It always seems to return to working normally after some days. It doesn't seem to hurt anything, (although it is giving the PCM an incorrect signal)...
