Rock Krawler lift
Mickey Thompson Classic II's
245/75/16 Duratracs

So far it rides awesome. I think my rear shocks were toast so putting on the new longer ones seem to have helped. The TPMS sensors didn't work with the wheels but I don't care since they weren't working right anyway (kept giving me a signal and were never low on air).

So far it's come out exactly like I wanted/hoped. Unfortunately, I had to agree to side bars if I got the lift (girlfriend, sister and girlfriends mother, all of whom don't drive).

The only things left are to install the OEM grill guard I have for it and some lights. Then I am done...for now. 8) :D :D

Looks really good. I like the sidebars (I am a girl tho :seuss: ). I think they tie in the tires, which btw must be loving all this snow we're getting! And more on the way!

Thanks. The tires have about 5 miles on them so they haven't seen too much snow yet but I've heard great things about them so I'll find out tomorrow...unfortunately. Lousy snow. :banghead:

Looks great! I can't wait until I get enough money saved up for mine. Hopefully this summer (or my tax return if I'm feeling impatient)...

Also I'd like to hear more about the Treadwrights after you've driven them for a while. I am at a toss up between those and General Grabber AT2s.

Looks good just make sure to keep the wheels nice and polished I had a set once and they got pitted up pretty bad from lack of maintenance.

If we can find anywhere around here to go then I'm down.

did you get 3.5 out of it?

When I got the tires on there the tech said it was up 5.5" in front and almost 7" in back with the wheels, tires and lift.

I seriously doubt this. I didn't measure it before/after but I would believe I got over 3" though with part of that being the tire. It is definitely much higher than it was before and more than I thought it would be which is nice. The only rubbing I have is the right front wheel at lock and that is only on the front of the wheel well. The tires stick out about 0.5" from the fender wells so that might be why. I'm sure this will affect my flex but I'll jump off that bridge when I come to it.

Loving the tires so far. Seems much more stable and the traction control didn't kick in once this afternoon driving home in conditions that would've had me sliding all over the place with the stock ST's.

I was wondering that too but I think it was becaue I was not parked on a level surface what with all this darn snow and all. :banghead: I heard today that with this last storm we have 72+ inches of snow in January alone. :furious: :furious: :furious: And there are still at least 2.5 more months of winter. :dizzy: I think I might be heading south soon. :JEEPIN:

I've been a New Englander for 35 years. Enough is enough. :-)r

I actually bought the lift used from someone off of this board with the longer shocks included so I got it pretty cheap. :D

Under User Control Panel,
Profile,
Edit Avatar,

You're going to have to have or get an online host site you can link to (I use photobucket). You amy also need to change the size of the image which you can also do on the edit avatar page.

Hurry up and get some pics on here. :D

So you are saying that the KK ESP didn't take over like it does on the WK? I want to lift a KK with the RK system, but I am worried that without a module the ESP will go insane. :?
