So I found an add on craigslist that a guy is wanting to trade his (4) BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2 245/75/16's to a set of AT's. The KM2's have 66% tread and my tires have i know 90% cause I bought them new in October '10. Would this be a good trade, if he decides to?

Need to know asap for you all!!!

8)

KM2s are $900 new just for the tires alone. If a mudder is what you want, there you go.

The image thing didn't work but it's all good

If they're what you want, go for it! Just make sure they're not cupped to pieces (the tread will look all wavy) if you need or question it, i'll make sure i'm awake and you can photo one while there and send it to me all ninja like :P But I'd think libertyCRD probably rotates his tires :P

most people get about 60k out of KM2's so they probably have a good 25-30k left in them, and you don't put many highway miles so they should last you until you find somethin else you want or your finances are better

I say go for it

I bought my 31 inch KM2's for $150 each installed brand new, so you can find a deal on good mud tires if you look at tire shops. I love my KM2's, they are great tires and will get you through mud awesome. As for that trade, i personally wouldn't do it. Look into local small name tire shops and show them the prices for tires out of petersons 4wheel magazine, i did it and got a really great deal without having to order and pay for shipping... :JEEPIN:

Well Libetry CRD and I trade wheels+tires and they look great on my Jeep. I'll post pictures on the picture thread.

Paris1422: You can't beat trading Toyo AT's+16" KJ Alloy wheels for BFG KM2s+16" Renegade wheels. I didn't pay anything

Haha, Alright, sounds like a potential "date" :P

I'm sure i'll be down that way this summer, maybe can have a cookout or somethin. Might even cook up some Swedish meatballs for ya

I'd totally like to see that DB forest you guys (and tom) have mentioned

---

As for the renny wheels, total upgrade :) That's been the one thing that's slowed me down from going back to steelies
