I finnally did it. Took the cover off and installed the Draw-Tite receiver hitch with a WARN Shackle. Took the Roto-Zip to the bumper cover and now it sure looks more like a Jeep.

Looks great!

May I suggest a set of IPF or Hella driving lights to finish it off?... :D

I do like the look, as it has often been said..."to each his own."

I was most surprised however by the utter lack of anything under the bumper cover. I realize the days of a solid, chromed bumper are long gone, but the last time I looked under a bumper cover there was foam and thingsa that looked like shocks to absorb and impact. Not under the KJ bumper cover. There is nothing under there except some plastic and wires, makes you wonder why it is even called a bumper.

Sorry to be Captain Obvious but it'd look a little better with a lift
Each time someone does this it makes me want to do it a little more. I recently scratched the heck outta my front bumper trying to flex on a log.

True, very true....but this was of no cost...except the hitch. Lift and all the skids will be next project...once I make some OT $
