hahaha no i get that im confused when it says needs two for a set... does that mean they are sold individually?

Yes, A quantity of one is one single shock, If you order two, that makes a set. A set is two shocks. Two for the front (or rear).
You need four shocks altogether, but the front shocks are different than the rear shocks. 8)

Isolators are the rubber pieces on top and bottom of the spring. Look under the rear of your Jeep. You will see that there is a rubber piece between the frame and the spring. That is the isolator. You can add one extra bottom, and up to two extra top isos to get added lift in addition to the OME springs. Each additional iso gives you an additional 1/2" of lift. Or you can get the plastic alternative I make here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=55610

Soft springs. They will sag just as fast as OEM. I have them in the rear now. Looking to replace them soon. Shocks are junk. Don't waste your money.

If you want a REAL lift get the frankenlift by boulderbars or make your own by buying Old Man Emu springs from jeepinbyal.com and getting Bilstein or OME shocks and adding boiler shims to the top of the springs

Then follow Tom's post on the previous page:

tommudd wrote:
OME 927s 948s gets you more than the 1.5 inches as posted above.
It has been posted 1 million times :ROTFL: before but
In my book right now here is about the best ride, handling and lift
listen carefully.................
FRONT: OME 927s with F4-BE5-D916-H0 shocks and Teraflex bumpstops plus 3/8 inch clevis
REAR ; OME 948s with F4-BE5-6458-H7 rear shocks one extra isolator on the top each side and 2 per side hockey pucks for bumpstops
The above after alignment and settling in will have you about 22.50 from the flare to middle of the wheel approx.
Several places have OME springs depending on where you live, shipping cost you know
I would try Jeepinbyal or AllJs
shockwarehouse has free shipping on the shocks
all of the above can be had for about 700
about as cheap of a complete everything you need as you can get :JEEPIN:

BDS is OK. Just not as tall of a lift as the OME. About an inch shorter

Sorry. You can't leave yourself open like that and not expect a little harassment. 8)

what size tire did you get? BDS should be alright, you can always add Boilers shims to the front to give you more lift (boiler is a fab on here and sells them for like $40 and gives you about 1/2 lift :D )
