Tried searching but didn't come up with the info. I was after....I'm replacing the rear U-joints on my '02 and am wondering if it's possible to get the front U-joint up by the trafer case out without pulling the slip yoke ?? Are the u-joints pressed in as in you need a shop press to get them out ?? I've been trying with a large "C" clamp to get the cups to press out but I'm not having any luck... Any ideas ?? Thanks..

just unbolt the drive shaft, clip the clip that holds the rubber boot in place and pull it out.
replace the u-joints the way you do any of them and replace . You can use a wire tie in the rubber boot to seal it now.
Takes a little more than a C clip or has on mine and the ones I have done so far on the KJs
I just use the vice and a BFH
Done!!
