I'm trying to find some some decent wipers that don't smear or make squeaky noises. I think the ones I picked up in the summer were the Bosch Micro Edge ones and they are pretty bad. The local Autozone didn't seem to carry the Icon model for my Liberty. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I always run the Anco hd metal ones, never had a problem but then again I replace my wipers once a year.

I have the NAPA Curves. Got them through one of my buddies dad's dealerships. Not cheap but they're pretty nice. No streaks.

I don't mind paying a little extra or changing them once a year, just want something decent. Thanks for the recommendations!

Bosch Icons are great, but a little pricey. I've been using frameless wipers for about 2 years now. Wal-Mart sells some Michelin wipers, but the tabs easily break off of the clips if you are one of those "slap the wiper on the windshield" people. Although just about every plastic gets pretty brittle in extreme temps.

I've used both. The Icons aren't worth the extra cash in my opinion.

I've been using the Rain-X frameless wipers. They are cheaper than the Bosh Icpns, but work very well.

Do they make the Bosch Icon's for the 07 Liberty? I can't find them online or in stores. Do I just take a chance and get the 19" one and see what happens? I'm not sure the frameless ones would work for me. I am one of those 'slap against the windshield' so I'd probably break that while putting the thing on. :)

x3,594 on the Bosch Icons. I'm using them right now, and got the pair for $28 at AutoZone. Best blades I've tried so far.

Michelins sucked...got 4-6 months out of them and they were shot.

I'm running 19" icons on the front and a 12" on the rear.

You don't happen to have an AutoZone part number on those do you?

Should be 419A

For some reason their site says it will not fit, but like most of their employees.... it's wrong.

No offense to any LOST members that work at the zone. I did say "most."

Sure don't. But every AutoZone (and some other stores too) around here has them hanging up on the rack in all sizes. The 19" is just a shade longer than OEM but it works great. Took 10 seconds to install with the included pre-installed clips.

I just put 21" blades on mine because I did not like the coverage of the stock 19" blades. Actually just made a new thread a few minutes ago in this forum on this same topic before I saw this one.

Used part # Anco 31-21

I use Proline frameless ones, had them for about a year, still like new. Got them both for a total of $13 at Pepboys, bogo! :D

Haha I work at Autozone... but what you say is "mostly" true.

As far as wiper blades, I like the Rain-x Latitudes I got 2 years of streak free usage!

I agree that the Bosch micro edge bite the big one. Duralast suck and Valucraft work for about a week.

I just picked up the Rain-X ones as well. Easy install and pretty cheap at AutoZone.
