so one day i come outside to my jeep to see that the sky slider was oddly open so i tried closing it and it was off the track (my friends think someone tried breaking in that way) so i took it to the jeep dealer to get it fixed, a month and a half later with a new ceiling and a totally new skyslider (which was poorly installed in my opinion) i finally got my beast back, but i noticed the fabric on the inside is filthy, does anyone have a good cleaner? i really dont want to take it back to the dealer because they take wayyyyyy too long, very unprofessional, never called, i had to call every time for an update on it

Welcome to NY.. or LOST!
Which dealer do you use on the island? In my opinion, they all suck. Well I can't say that, because I haven't been to all of them.

Anyway, If the dealer is 100% accountable for the dirty fabric, go back, and make them fix it.
I wouldn't let them get away with it.

That wouldn't void your SS warranty though.

The inside of mine is pretty dirty too. I try not to touch it because it makes marks or smears the dirt. That is probably what happened at the dealer. If it's on w/velcro that we could prob pull it off and wash it. I've not looked into it yet. However, I would lke to dye mine black if it comes off.

I think the dirt is inevitable considering the way it opens. Once you open it, it's as vulnerable to the elements as the outside of the car and we all know that you have to wash the outside of the car eventually regardless of weather. It just gets dirty over time out in the elements. I have also noticed that the inside of my KK gets pretty dirty/dusty in the summer when it's open a lot.

Mine is filthy also but that is my own darn fault (working on car and them put my greasy hands up there :banghead: ). It doesn't help that my interior is tan. Although it does do a good job hiding the Yellow Lab hair. :D

I heard that Oxyclean stuff is good but haven't tried it. I'm lazy. Just try not to look up. Your eyes should be on the road anyway.
