So this has been going on for months and me and my friend cannot find or fix the problem, I have the JBA 4 inch lift and every time i take a sharp turn or hit a little bump on my right front wheel something clinks, i have plenty of a-arm clearance, i cut out the notches for the a-arms and i can see no wear and tear from the noise itself, has anyone heard of this before? this is the one thing keeping me from off roading, i don't want people staring and saying "oh that doesn't sound too good", our latest guess is that it could be the sway bars, i'll post pictures if needed

Have you pulled off that wheel and looked for any metal on metal contact marks? I would look at the swaybar, end links, tie rod, and make sure the strut tower nuts and clevis bolts are torqued properly.

lots of folks have had noises after a lift - check all bolts front and rear to make they were tightened properly and that includes the nuts on the top of the struts (see if there's any movement)

and make sure the sway bars were loosen and re-tighten after it was sitting on the ground - if it was still in the air - they'll make noise

hislop, do you have the a-arms also? also does it do it while sitting still and turning the steering back and forth either way?

rachael i would venture to guess yours is spring/a-arm contact. i had it with my RK lift.

I had the 'banging' noise too and found the problem was the sway bar bolts. (re-tighten them like said above) now that it's back on the ground.
