I recently noticed the headliner fabric on my skyslider is coming loose from the top portion of the skyslider at the front. I assumed that this would be covered by the lifetime bumper-to-bumper warranty but it's a "trim piece" so it's not covered. I'm mainly writing to see if anyone knows where I can get the connecting double sided tape that is used to hold these two pieces together (I have tried to check the service parts catalog but it doesn't list this part.) Also was wondering if anyone else was having similar issues?

Any help appreciated. Should have just bought a Wrangler. :banghead:

Take it to a local auto upholstery and see what they can do. I have a local guy that does upholstery work and he reupholstered my friends headliner in his 750Li using suede for like $200. It stead of just "patching" the problem area is might just pay to have it redone and maybe with better material ... Just an option.

Are TSB's covered even if I no longer have warranty coverage on my Jeep (I'm 14,000km's over)
UPDATE: Just talked to the dealer and they said that since its not a recall I would have to pay.. JERKS!

YOu could try another dealer.

Also try HQ for Jeep, maybe someone over the phone can get it authorized..

But if not. look at what Mike said, they will do a better job anyways.

I'm going to call Chrysler about the Service Bulletin and see if I can get it covered even thought I outside of the orginal warranty. (42K miles).

Thanks for responses so far.

I tried searching but missed the TSB's at first.
