So to pass the time from now until I get my lift and RL front bumper I'm planing to make some small mods here and there.
These arent going to just be stupid thing to do just to have something to do...excluding one
1) Rear shackle for my hitch.
2) Recovery strap to keep handy
3) Fire extingiusher
4) First aid kit
5) Interior lights
6) Bed lining the grille to match the rest of the jeep. Bye bye chrome.

All of this will be around 120. I dont have to pay for the first aid kit because my dad says he will find one at his job. He's in charge of a lot of the special forces training that goes on at Fort Bragg.
Anything you guys can add that would be neat little editions? I'm buying my cb set up and MAYBE hood louvers sometime soon also... Have to convince my mom. She said they looked like vents... I wish I could say they weren't :banghead: haha she doesnt get what they do. :-)r

Not sure if you have done this yet or not, but de-badging your Jeep makes it look 100x better. That's something small you could do. When you do get your lift on, you can trim your rear bumper. Shows the lift off more and looks AWESOME! I took the carpet out of my Jeep cause it was soaked. Not sure if you would want to do that, but something that's also no-cost.

What kind of bedliner are you going to use on that grill? Roll-on or spray can? I'd take off the grill, sand it down good and use spray-on bedliner. I found a can of Rustoleum Spray-can bedliner at Auto Zone and bought (several) to do my bedliner job. Somewhere around $10+tax a can? Once can will be plenty for the front grill.

The 10$ gutter guard grill insert mod is nice, easy, cheap, & effective.

I run wires to my lights through the grill... do you think that I could just cut a small opening in the isert for the wires and it still look decent? what material did you use?

Should be able to run wires through the existing holes in the gutter guard with out issue.

Material used was just a roll of black plastic gutter guard available at any hardware/construction supply store, roll costs about $10 and is enough to do at least 2 vehicles.

Just cut the pieces to fit, and insert between the grill and stock grill insert. IE remove grill, seperate the two pieces, insert gutter guard between the two pieces, put back together.
