So I ordered my front Bilsteins F4-BE5-D916-H0, back in late January. I was told they were backorderd twice and "might" get them early April.. I have everything for my OME lift except front shocks. Is there another shock similar in price and quality that I should look for? Set up will be OME 927, 948, 1/4" shim plate with extra rear iso's. Are the Rancho RS5000's bad? Or Monroe sensa-trac? OME Shocks would be nice, but I don't want to spend that much. Thanks for the help.

kegan,
I literally just went through this last week. Dealing with JBA was fantastic though. I got all my parts shipped to me yesterday with the exception of those same front struts from bilstein. I did however get the bilstein rear shocks with my order. I posted another thread that indeed there is a nationwide bilstein backorder and your timeframe is confirmed. Nothing shipping out of Germany until beginning of April...and that's still not 100%

Anyhow, to answer your question, Marlin at JBA shipped me the OME part in its place - sure they are more but I don't care at this point, I need to have em. I already have a set in stone date with Tommudd and Chris to do my lift next Friday the 18th. I will have the OME HD fronts delivered to me on Monday. I already received UPS confirmation from Marlin. According to many, these are perfect and marlin actually told me they are the perfect match for the OME coils you and I already have (OME all in the family) so I suggest just getting those from JBA. Marlin has them in stock, but with the shortage, I would order quick. The Bilsteins are 95 a piece and the OME are $151 apiece...hope that helps.
