Wow! What an eclectic bunch we have!
Let's see...I'm in VA Beach, VA right now. I've only been here for a few years, but I think it'll be home for a while.
My brother, who owns an 05 CRD (Pat Blue) lives in Raleigh, NC.
KJMedic - You're right next to VIR!! That's one of the greatest road tracks in the country!! My brother and I are talking about going there to watch a race this fall. You like car racing?
oldnavy - My Dad's side of the family is only 90 miles east of you. They run a huge dairy farm in Ballard County, KY (Dad's the only one who left). Might be making a trip there this summer for the family reunion.
alljeep - Indy's a great track! I've been to one CART Indy race (pre-split), the first NASCAR race, and the return-of-F1 race. Fun place!
Taz - That's just a good name for a town. Lake Elmo. Do you guys do a yearly ritualistic drowning of the red fuzzy muppet? I'd like to see that.
RedJeepCRD - My sister lives just down the road from you in Clermont. Not planning a trip down this year (taking lots of vacation for my honeymoon), but will probably be down there next year.
gsbrockman - I know a Sand Gap Bridge in Powell County (Natural Bridge) and a Sand Gap school in Jackson County. Are either of those the Sand Gap you're talking about? Mom's family is from Pomeroyton (Menifee Country) and I went to college in Morehead (Rowan County). I think Pomeroyton's population is something like..2.
Personally, I'm glad to see that the Liberty CRD appeals to such a wide range of people in so many different parts of the country. I look forward to a big CRD meet & greet sometime!
Hey - I'm in Raleigh too. Bought my '06 Midnight Blue Limited a month ago. Should probably see where your brother takes his for service.
