another jeep tent!

after seeing chris' pictures of his sweet jeep tent i was on a quest to find one! JDaPP was kind enough to sell me his and ship it across the country

. set it up today to check it out.. this tent is huge and awesome!! still need to work on how it hooks up to the jeep. just threw it on there for now.

Do you create air flow with the sub? Shake the tent a lot? And I don't mean knocking boots shaking. :ROTFL:

hahahahhahaha.... didnt expect that comment! (or this thread to come back to life for that matter). I'll never know if it shakes the tent... i sold the sub haha. It WOULD'VE shook it though.. that thing was crazy!

They used to give them away with the purchase of a KJ
Check Craigslist, Ebay etc. I have bought three and none were over 75 bucks
sold them all so don't ask.
I'm sure there are some out there if you look hard enough.
Of course that was a few years back so bet they are double that price or more now
ask around bet someone may have one laying around yet, or get a hold of 03CDKJ I know he did have one at one time, think he still does as a matter of fact!!

The point is to have a tent to sleep in but also to have direct access to your vehicle and what ever you have in there. Next morning release it from the KJ, and drive away. You can seal up the end during the day at night return and hook back up. :wink:

I've got the same tent and I'm looking to sell it to get a smaller backpacking tent for 2. Send a PM with your e-mail and I can send you pics of my tent but again - it's the same tent although all of my pics would have the rain cover on. I'm sure I'll post something in the for sale section this week.
